This is a lovely ride linking the Seaside towns of Exmouth and Budleigh Salterton. Part of the route is a former railway line running through stunning woodland that is a dedicated traffic free zone, the route is predominantly flat with gentle slopes. The route can be started at two key places, one being Exmouth Train Station. The second at Littleham Village. If you take the Littleham Village route you can stop for a refreshing drink or bite to eat at the Clinton Arms pub or the Tythe tea rooms. Budleigh Salterton is a picturesque town with an incredible seafront with a pebble beach and giant jurassic coastal cliffs, it is excellent for swimming and relaxing and well worth the gentle cycle this route provides. On your route home you may choose to cycle along Exmouth’s Sea front cycle path and around the Marina Development both of which offer delightful views with plenty more For more information or to hire cycles for this picturesque trail please contact us. |
